Brian Harrison dedicates his law practice to helping ordinary people with their most difficult problems, whether you need criminal defense, help with a divorce, or in a dispute with a person or business. These issues will affect your life, forever, and there are few if any people on your side protecting your rights. You need a serious, smart lawyer like Brian to stand with you.
Brian graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor's degree from the University of Houston. After watching friends and family struggle with the legal system, Brian decided to do something about it and returned to school to become a lawyer. While in law school, Brian worked with lawyers on Texas death penalty appeals, clerked at the New Orleans Public Defender's Office, and interned with the Texas Civil Rights Project's Prisoner's Rights Program. He also served as the President of the school chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). He graduated from the University of Houston Law Center in 2011 with a law degree, passed the bar, and was licensed later that year.
In addition to being a committed, people-centered lawyer, Brian is active in the Houston community. He has hosted Greenwatch, the Harris County Green Party's TV show, since 2000. Brian gives presentations educating people about their rights with the police and other authority figures. Brian is also active in the Houston music scene, playing bass in the band Balaclavas.
